The Pharmacy Services Department at Providence St. Peter Hospital is committed to developing highly skilled pharmacy practitioners. Our PGY1 program is structured to impart the essential knowledge and skills needed to promote and deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care. Residents will gain expertise in assuring optimal drug therapy outcomes while honing vital life skills and professionalism necessary to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare ecosystem.
Our program offers diverse experiences across multiple environments, enabling residents to practice pharmaceutical care in various settings. The core purpose of the Pharmacy Residency at Providence St. Peter Hospital is to build upon your Doctor of Pharmacy education, transforming you into a skilled pharmacist practitioner. Upon successful completion of our PGY1 program, you will be well-prepared to provide comprehensive patient care, pursue board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS), and advance to further specialized training through PGY2 residencies or fellowships.
Compensation and Benefits
