Opening Hours and Admission
During the warmer seasons, we welcome visitors from Tuesdays to Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the final admission at 4:30 p.m. In winter, starting in November, our public hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (final admission). School and group tours can be arranged by appointment from Tuesdays through Fridays. Please note that our hours may vary seasonally, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm. Admission is affordably priced at $3 for Taylor residents and $4 for non-residents. Children aged 1 and under enjoy free admission. Special event days have a $5 entrance fee.
Family Fun Pass: Unlimited Petting Farm Adventures
Maximize your family fun with the Heritage Park Petting Farm Family Fun Pass! This pass grants unlimited admission to the Petting Farm for an entire year, including free entry to all our special events. It’s a fantastic value at $50 for Taylor resident families and $60 for non-resident families. The pass covers up to five family members, with additional members able to be added for $15 each. Explore and Interact: What to See and Do
Upon arrival, you’ll enter through our Welcome Center, situated on the northeast corner of Northline and Pardee roads. Inside, you’ll find a classroom that hosts birthday parties, special events, and educational field trips. Just beyond the Welcome Center, discover our Nature Pond, a thriving habitat for koi fish, frogs, turtles, and various aquatic plants. A deck extends over the pond, providing an excellent vantage point to observe turtles basking in the sun and wild ducks swimming among the waterfalls.
The highlight for many visitors is our Big Red Barn. This spacious barn is home to a variety of friendly farm animals, including goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, a cow, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, pigs, and more! Guests are invited to view and, most importantly, interact with these gentle creatures under the helpful supervision of our knowledgeable staff. This hands-on experience makes the Heritage Park Petting Farm a truly special destination for animal lovers of all ages, offering memorable petting opportunities and educational fun.
