Daycare Rates
- Half day (0-4 hours): $20
- Each additional hour past 4 hours: $4/hour
Daycare Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our daycare guests, we require:
- A 2-hour behavior assessment for the first visit
- Current rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations
- Completed New Client Form (New Client Form)

Boarding Features
- 24-Hour Staffed Care: Peace of mind knowing your pet is always supervised.
- Cage-Free Options: For a more relaxed and natural boarding experience.
- Homelike Environment: Comfortable and spacious accommodations designed to feel like home.
- Vaccination Requirements: Dogs must be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella by a veterinarian. Vaccinations should be administered at least one week before boarding. Titer antibody tests are also accepted with vet consent.
Dog Boarding Options
- Kennel Condo: Size-appropriate condo with a raised cot. $42 per night.
- 8×10 Family Suite: Private luxury suite with A/C and toddler beds. Ideal for 2 dogs – $72/night. (Includes air conditioning during summer months).
- Additional Dogs (sharing a kennel): $25 per dog.
- Cage-Free Boarding: $50 per night.
- Kennel prices include 4 hours of doggie daycare.
A deposit is required for all boarding stays. An additional $3 per night applies during holidays and peak periods. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of invoice receipt to secure your reservation.
Daycare prices on the day of pick up:
- 10am – 2pm: $20 (second dog $15)
- 2:01pm – 5pm: $30 (second dog $25)
- 5:01 pm – 7pm: $40 (second dog $35)
Cat Boarding
We also offer luxurious cat boarding suites:
- 5×12 Luxury Suite: Includes perches, fountain, and more. One cat – $32, additional cats – $14 per cat.
- Vaccination Requirements: Cats must be vaccinated for Rabies and Distemper. Indoor/outdoor cats require feline leukemia vaccination.
- A deposit is required for all cat boarding appointments.
Cage-Free Boarding Details
Our cage-free boarding option is perfect for current daycare clients. Dogs enjoy comfortable beds and leather couches in supervised areas, creating a cozy and relaxed environment. Designated quiet time areas are also provided.
Full day of daycare plus overnight cage-free boarding: $50
Additional Boarding Services
Enhance your pet’s stay with our additional service options:
- 1/2 hour private run or walk on the bike path: $10
- Turndown service: $6 (choice of 15 minutes of snuggle time in kennel or 15 minutes of private fetch)
- Filled frozen Kong treat: $4.50
- Daily brushing: $5

As a devoted pet parent to 10 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens, I understand the deep bond we share with our animal companions. They are family, and their well-being is my top priority.
Poet’s Pet Parlor began as a dream to offer cage-free grooming options. As my clientele grew, I recognized the need for a different kind of pet care – one that felt more like home. This led to the expansion of our services to include doggie daycare and pet boarding, all designed to provide the most comfortable and loving environment possible. We strive to be an alternative to traditional kennels, creating a space where dogs can play freely, socialize, and relax in a safe and supervised setting. For overnight stays, we offer home-like bedrooms and even the option for pets to sleep in an on-site apartment with our caring staff.
“Poet,” my first dog and the inspiration behind our name, was an incredible companion who ignited my lifelong love for animals. Though he passed away shortly after Poet’s Pet Parlor opened, his spirit of love and compassion guides everything we do.
