We believe your dog deserves a vacation as much as you do. To ensure a pleasant and harmonious experience for all our guests – two-legged and four-legged alike – we have established a clear and considerate dog policy. We kindly ask all pet parents to review and adhere to these guidelines to help us maintain a welcoming environment for everyone.

Rosen Plaza® Dog Policy: Ensuring a Paw-sitive Stay for Everyone

To make your stay and your dog’s stay enjoyable and safe, we have a few simple guidelines in place. We appreciate your cooperation in following these policies:

  • Vaccination Requirements: For the health and safety of all our guests, we require all canine guests to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Please be prepared to present proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian upon check-in. This ensures a healthy environment for all pets at our hotel.

  • Dog Limit: To maintain comfortable accommodations for all guests, we allow a maximum of one (1) dog per guestroom. This policy helps us manage space and resources effectively, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.

  • Pet Fee and Deposits: We have a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $150, plus tax, per guestroom, covering stays up to seven (7) nights. For longer stays, an additional fee of $50 per night applies after the initial seven nights. This fee helps us cover the costs associated with pet-friendly accommodations and maintaining our high standards of cleanliness. For guests paying in cash, a refundable deposit of $100, plus tax, is required in addition to the pet fee. This deposit is fully refundable after room inspection upon departure, provided there are no damages. Please note that service animals are exempt from these fees.

  • Responsibility for Cleanliness: As responsible pet owners, we request that you promptly clean up after your dog while on hotel property, including all outdoor areas and grounds. Proper disposal of pet waste is essential for maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for all guests. In cases where a dog creates an excessive mess, an additional cleaning fee may be applied to cover the extra housekeeping efforts required.

  • “Dog in Room” Sign: Upon check-in, you will receive a special “Dog in Room” door hanger. We kindly ask you to display this sign on the outside of your guestroom door throughout your stay. This serves as a friendly acknowledgement of your furry family member’s presence and alerts our staff.

  • Supervision and Leash Policy: For the safety and comfort of your dog and other guests, we require that your dog be properly supervised at all times while on hotel property. When outside of your guestroom, dogs must be kept on a leash. If you need to leave your dog unattended in your room, they must be secured in a crate. This policy ensures the well-being of your pet and respects the space of other guests.

  • Hotel’s Right to Remove Pet: While we love having dogs at Rosen Plaza®, we reserve the right to remove a dog from the hotel premises if it exhibits any signs of aggression, regardless of breed, type, size, or weight. This is for the safety and peace of mind of all our guests and staff.

  • Designated Dog Walk Area: To cater to your dog’s needs, we have a designated dog walk area located outside the hotel. Please utilize this area for dog relief and exercise. This designated space is designed to be convenient and hygienic for pet owners and their dogs.

  • Restricted Areas for Dogs: To maintain hygiene and guest comfort in specific areas, dogs are restricted from the pool areas, restaurants, lounges, health club, spa, lobby furniture, and meeting spaces. Of course, this restriction excludes certified service animals, which are welcome in all areas accessible to guests.

  • Housekeeping Service: To schedule housekeeping service for your room, please dial extension 88 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please allow for a service window of 30 minutes to an hour, although times may vary depending on demand. For the safety and comfort of your dog and our housekeeping staff, please ensure your dog is safely crated or removed from the guestroom during cleaning service.

  • Noise Considerations: As a courtesy to all hotel guests, we kindly request that noise levels be kept to a minimum. If your dog is making excessive noise that disrupts other guests, you will be contacted to address the situation. We understand that dogs may bark occasionally, but we ask for your help in maintaining a peaceful environment for everyone. Remember, your dog also needs rest and relaxation to fully enjoy their Orlando vacation!
