Owning a pet bunny is a rewarding experience, but it’s also a significant commitment. Bunnies can live for around 10 years, so it’s crucial to ensure you are prepared for the long-term responsibility. Before welcoming a bunny into your life, we encourage you to conduct thorough research, plan for their needs, and ask any questions you may have. Unlike some pets, bunnies do not adapt well to being rehomed as adults. Therefore, please only consider adopting a bunny if you are confident in your ability to provide a loving and permanent home. Adopting Your Pet Bunny from Peppermint Rose Ranch: The Process
We begin accepting reservations for bunnies at 4 weeks of age. To reserve a bunny, we require a non-refundable deposit equal to half the bunny’s purchase price. Bunnies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old. We are unable to hold any bunny without a deposit, as this ensures commitment from prospective owners.
To proceed with adoption, please read, sign, and return our sales agreement along with your non-refundable deposit. When you pick up your baby bunny, you will receive a care guide, transitional food to help them adjust to their new diet, a toy or two for enrichment, and a birth certificate. If you require a pedigree certificate, please let us know at least a week in advance of pick-up.
