Every pet photo submission will be proudly featured in this special calendar, a heartwarming way to showcase your furry friends while supporting over 200 adorable cats and dogs at Fort Lauderdale’s premier no-kill animal shelter, Abandoned Pet Rescue. Participating is Easy and Fun
Pet owners are warmly invited to submit their cherished pet photos, or even snapshots of an APR adoptable pet, for inclusion in the calendar. The submission period is open until August 31st, 2024, ending promptly at 11:59:59 PM. A modest donation of $10 per photo is required for each submission, ensuring that EVERY submitted pet photo finds its place in the printed 2025 APR Calendar. Please note that there is a limit of two pets per photo, and we kindly request that people are not included in the images.
For those seeking a truly unique touch, you can reserve a specific date in the calendar to feature your pet, making their birthday or adoption day even more memorable (see details below). And don’t forget to pre-order your calendars – they make wonderful gifts for any occasion!
Getting involved is simple! Submit your favorite pet photo and encourage your family and friends to cast their votes for your pet’s picture. The twelve (12) photos that garner the most votes and meet the contest requirements will be honored as the monthly cover stars of the calendar.

Reserve a Special Day for Your Pet
Do you desire a guaranteed spot for your pet on a significant date within the calendar? For an additional $15 (beyond the initial submission fee), you can have your pet’s photo featured on a day of your choosing. Select your photo, pick your special day (perhaps your pet’s birthday or adoption anniversary), and complete the payment. Your date is secured! In the event that your chosen day is already reserved, we will promptly contact you to assist in selecting an alternative date.

Pre-order Your APR “Love is Guaranteed” 2025 Calendar Today
Calendars will be available for purchase starting October 1st, 2024, at our adoption center located at 1137 NE 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. Our center is open daily from 12 PM to 5 PM for your convenience. You can also conveniently pre-order your calendar while submitting your photo or during the voting process, and have it shipped directly to your doorstep.
