Our dogs love it too and have very shiny coats, perhaps because of it but it’s hard to know because they have been on this food most of their young lives (3 and 4 years old). We learned about the service through the pet rescue that our first dog was from, IAR. We opted to keep our dog on the same food she was on during her time in foster care to keep some things the same for her as she adjusted to our home, and ended up liking it so much we kept it up! The main benefits include: convenience (literally delivered to my doorstep), nutritional information provided on the packaging, food calculator available on the website for ordering, variety of flavors available, feeling good about supporting a small business, and our dogs love it (qualitative evidence = they seem less enthused when presented with other dog food). The main drawback is the higher cost compared to most dog food (but like most things, you get what you pay for).
