This dual focus allowed him to cultivate deep expertise in areas directly relevant to public entities like MARTA. His practice included advising public and private sector clients on government law, state and local government contracts, public procurement processes, public transportation initiatives, and the increasingly important area of public-private partnerships. His experience also extended to RFP compliance and public finance matters. Moreover, his role within the litigation team saw him providing essential litigation support and strategic counsel to both government and private organizations navigating complex commercial disputes.
Prior to his private practice career at Greenberg Traurig, Peter Andrews dedicated nearly a decade to public service within the City of Atlanta Department of Law. His commitment to public service is evident in the diverse leadership positions he held, including Deputy of the Commercial Transactions team, Deputy of the Aviation team, and ultimately, Interim City Attorney.
