Furthermore, a portion of our pet fee, 20%, is donated to the Espanola Valley Animal Shelter, reinforcing our commitment to animal welfare and the local community. At La Fonda, we aim to make your dog’s stay as enjoyable as yours. To ensure a harmonious experience for all guests, we have a few guidelines in place. We understand you’ll want to explore the beautiful city of Santa Fe, and for times when you are out and about without your furry friend, we can happily recommend reputable doggie day camp options. We kindly request that you take your dog to designated outdoor areas for their bathroom breaks and ensure to clean up afterwards, maintaining the cleanliness of our grounds for everyone to enjoy. To maintain a peaceful environment for all our guests, we ask that you ensure your dog does not cause any excessive noise such as howling, barking, whimpering, or whining, as this may result in additional charges. When in public hotel areas, we require that your dog be kept on a leash at all times, and we appreciate your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, pool, or spa areas. Should any accidental damage occur to the room or hotel property caused by your dog, we kindly ask that you take responsibility for the associated costs, similar to how you would manage such situations at home. We offer a variety of comfortable guest rooms to accommodate you and your pet, but please note that The Terrace Inn at La Fonda currently has restricted access for pets.
